Residential Security Services
New residential customers may be subject to credit approval and monitoring agreement requirements. Certain promotional equipment packages, financing options, or installment agreements may require approved credit and ongoing monitoring services. Professional installation may require proof of property ownership or authorization from the property owner or manager. Additional installation fees may apply for specialized devices, cameras, smart locks, or advanced integrations.
Monitoring & Smart Security Services

EMI Security provides professional monitoring services and smart security solutions for residential and commercial customers. Features may include:

  • Intrusion monitoring

  • Fire and smoke monitoring

  • Mobile app access

  • Smart automation

  • Video surveillance

  • Remote system control

  • Cellular backup communication
     

Monitoring performance may depend on internet connectivity, cellular availability, electrical power, and compatible equipment. EMI Security is not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party service providers, internet outages, power failures, or force majeure events.

Video Surveillance Services
Video surveillance systems may require minimum internet upload speeds for proper operation and remote viewing functionality. Additional fees may apply for expanded cloud storage, multiple cameras, or enhanced monitoring features.
Equipment shown in advertisements or on the website may differ from actual installed products based on availability and system configuration.

Billing & Payment Terms
Monitoring rates and financing terms may require:

  • ACH automatic draft enrollment

  • Credit approval

  • Initial upfront payments

  • Applicable taxes and fees
     

Monthly monitoring charges are billed according to your selected service agreement. Late or failed payments may result in service interruption, additional fees, or account suspension. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Warranty Disclaimer
Products and services are provided “as is” unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement. EMI Security disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
While EMI Security strives to provide reliable products and services, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of monitoring systems, mobile applications, or connected devices.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EMI Security shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from:

  • Alarm failures

  • Communication interruptions

  • Equipment malfunctions

  • Unauthorized access

  • Delayed emergency response

  • Third-party service outages
     

Customers assume responsibility for maintaining safe premises, internet access, electrical service, and proper use of installed equipment.

False Alarm Policy
EMI Security may assist customers with false alarm issues resulting from verified system malfunctions caused directly by EMI Security equipment or installation errors. This does not include:

  • User error

  • Failure to maintain permits

  • Negligence

  • Weather events or Acts of God

  • Third-party equipment failures


Insurance Discounts
Insurance discounts for monitored alarm systems may be available depending on your insurance provider and policy. EMI Security does not guarantee insurance savings. Customers should contact their insurance carrier for eligibility and discount information.

Website & Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, graphics, text, logos, videos, and materials on the EMI Security website are the property of EMI Security unless otherwise noted. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
Third-party trademarks, product names, and logos referenced on the site remain the property of their respective owners.

SMS Terms & Conditions
By opting into EMI Security SMS communications, you consent to receive recurring text messages related to:

  • Appointment reminders

  • Account alerts

  • Security notifications

  • Service updates

  • Promotional offers (with consent)

Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out at any time by replying:

User Responsibilities

Customers waive participation in class-action proceedings to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to Terms
EMI Security reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of EMI Security services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
